Art Crisis or the Crisis of Art?

This unique event assesses the state of art worldwide and features a program tailored to the contexts that challenge art in the 21st century. This event is an opportunity to award the Paris Biennale Prize to an artist playing a crucial role in the art of our century. Faced with the crises we are experiencing—whether health, ecological, or social—we have two options: to disappear or to invent. Inventing requires accepting that art must turn the impossible into a project and the project into reality. The event aims to meet this challenge by inviting artists and societal actors to discuss their dynamics and foster synergies that could lead to a new future. Art practitioners, regardless of their positioning, can no longer ignore societal issues that have become unavoidable today. They must propose new ecological, economic, and educational models where issues of freedom, diversity, otherness, and singularity are placed at the heart of contemporary debate. By creating a meeting place for art professionals and other sectors. This event seeks to address the challenges of the 21st century by positioning art as a vector of innovation, societal transformation, and emancipation.
