In the presence of Corina Chutaux Mila, the author of the book, art historian Eric Monsinjon, and philosopher Aurore Chevallier.

Invisual art is a form that highlights art without the constraints of materiality or reality; it essentially dispenses with the very idea of an « artwork. » This book serves as the spokesperson for this emerging concept, tracing the formation of the idea of Invisual art and encouraging reflection on what its aesthetics represent once stripped of tangible, visible, and speculative aspects.

In her book, the author states: « Invisual artists use ordinary objects in their practices, without altering their primary nature, to transform them into works of art. Invisual Art can encompass various artistic movements, disruptive strategies designed to counter the art system itself, lifestyles, and, to simplify, any attitude, activity, or idea that reveals non-retinal and consequently invisual artistic qualities. »

Corina Chutaux Mila teaches art and literature at Sciences Po and computer research at the Sorbonne. She is a Ph.D. candidate at Sorbonne Nouvelle, specializing in comparative studies.
