The Paris Biennale is partnering with the European School for the Integration of Migrants through Art (EEIMA) to organize the Art & Migration Forum 2024, with the theme of the 2024 edition being « Adaptation as a Form of Art. »

This ambitious event aims to become a major reference in Europe on migration issues, while establishing Brussels as a central hub on the international artistic and political scene.

The forum stands out for its innovative approach, highlighting the intersection between migration and art. It brings together a diverse array of participants—artists, researchers, activists, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and cultural actors—in an inclusive spirit, aiming to generate positive social impact. By exploring the deep connections between art and migration, the forum emphasizes the crucial role of art in the integration and empowerment of migrants.

This edition will particularly highlight « invisible art, » a form of art that, unlike visual art, transcends the barriers of historical and artistic education and breaks free from traditional spaces like museums and galleries. Invisible art is intended to be accessible to all, thus becoming a powerful tool for migrant integration.

The 2024 edition of the forum will take place on September 7, 2024, in Brussels, from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at the Maison de la Création – Site Bockstael, Boulevard Emile Bockstael 246A, 1020 Brussels.
